Outpatient programs

Three levels of outpatient care — PHP, IOP and OP — plus therapy and family support. Every client starts with a clinical assessment; from there we recommend a level of care and step it down as you gain stability.

Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)

Our most intensive level of care — for people who need daily structure and clinical support but can safely live at home.

PHP is a full-day program, five days a week. You spend the day with us — group therapy, individual sessions, psychiatric and medical support, family work and skills training — and go home in the evening. It's the right starting point for many people coming out of detox or residential treatment, or for anyone whose recovery needs more support than a few hours a day. Most clients step down to IOP after two to four weeks.

Schedule
5–6 hours/day, 5 days/week
Typical length
2–4 weeks
Includes
Daily groups, individual therapy, psychiatric & medical support, family sessions, case management
Best for
Stepping down from detox or residential care, or when IOP isn't enough

Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)

For people who need real structure but can't step away from work, school or family.

IOP is our most comprehensive outpatient option. You'll attend group several days a week, meet one-to-one with your primary counselor, and build a personal relapse-prevention plan. Morning and evening tracks are available, and most clients complete IOP in 8–12 weeks before stepping down to OP.

Schedule
3 hours/day, 3–5 days/week
Typical length
8–12 weeks
Includes
Group, individual, family sessions, case management
Tracks
Morning · Evening

Outpatient Program (OP)

For people who are stable and want ongoing support — or are stepping down from IOP.

OP keeps you connected to your counselor and your group while you put recovery into practice in daily life. Sessions focus on maintaining gains, solving real-world problems as they come up and strengthening your support network.

Schedule
1–2 sessions/week
Typical length
Flexible; commonly 3–6 months
Includes
Weekly group, individual sessions as needed

Individual & Group Therapy

Available within IOP and OP, and on a standalone basis.

Individual sessions give you private time with a licensed clinician to work on what's underneath substance use — anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, relationships. Groups are small and structured: skills groups teach concrete tools (CBT, DBT), and process groups give you a place to be honest with people who understand.

Approaches
CBT · DBT skills · Motivational Interviewing · Relapse prevention
Group size
Small — typically 6–10 people

Family Support

For partners, parents and adult children of clients.

Addiction affects the whole household, and families recover together. Family sessions and our twice-monthly family evening help loved ones understand the disease, set healthy boundaries and support recovery without carrying it alone.

Format
Family sessions + family education evenings
Cost
Included in IOP/OP

Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) coordination

For clients who benefit from medication alongside counseling.

For alcohol and opioid use disorders, medications such as naltrexone or buprenorphine can dramatically improve outcomes. We coordinate with your prescribing physician so that medication and counseling work together as one plan.

Note
Prescribing arranged through partnered or referring physicians

Aftercare & Alumni

For everyone who completes a program with us.

Discharge isn't goodbye. Every client leaves with a written aftercare plan, and our alumni group meets regularly for continued connection and accountability.

Includes
Aftercare plan · Alumni group · Check-in calls
